An organisation within the Building and Construction industry, based in Hemel Hempstead. Due to continued growth as well as an internal promotion, they are currently looking for an experienced Learning and Organisational Development Advisor to join their supportive HR team ASAP. The role is based 3 days per week in Hemel Hempstead, and they are looking for an experienced Learning and Organisational Development Advisor who can quickly support their apprenticeship, graduate and early careers programmes. This is a role due to start ASAP, and requires someone who can be effective with minimal onboarding and confidently manage existing programmes from day one.
Description
- Manage and coordinate apprenticeship and early career programmes, ensuring they align with organisational goals.
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices and early career participants throughout their development journey.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify training needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programmes.
- Ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards and other relevant regulations.
- Act as a point of contact for external training providers and stakeholders.
- Support managers in developing and mentoring early career employees.
- Assist in the administration and reporting of training and development activities.
Profile
A successful Learning and Organisational Development Advisor should have:
- Knowledge of apprenticeship, graduate programmes and early career development processes.
- Experience in learning and development or a related human resources/ graduate attraction role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting others.
- The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Live locally to Hemel Hempstead and available to start ASAP on an initial 6-8 week temporary role.
Job Offer
- Hourly rate of circa £20ph, negotiable depending on experience
