The Opportunity
As HR Advisor, you'll be a trusted partner to managers across the organisation, delivering practical and commercially focused HR support on a wide range of people matters.
The role offers excellent exposure to employee relations, business change projects and management coaching, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further develop their HR career within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing expert advice and guidance on employment law, HR policies and best practice.
- Supporting managers with employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management cases.
- Assisting with organisational change initiatives such as restructures, redeployment exercises, redundancies and TUPE processes.
- Coaching and developing line managers to build confidence in managing people-related matters.
- Building effective working relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Identifying risks and recommending practical HR solutions to support informed decision-making.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting HR reporting requirements.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.
About You
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
- Previous experience operating in a HR Advisor role.
- Strong employee relations experience across a broad range of casework.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem solving.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
