HR Advisor (Temp to Perm)

Reed Business Support are currently seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join a busy and growing organisation on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service across the business.
As HR Advisor, you will provide first-line HR support to managers and employees, ensuring policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation. You will be involved in a broad range of HR activities and contribute to the ongoing success of the HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance issues.
- Supporting managers with HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
- Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
- Monitoring absence and workforce data, producing reports where required.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Assisting with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a HR Advisor or HR Generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
- Strong organisational and administration skills.
- CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
