Payroll Specialist (European Payroll)
- Location: Surbiton, Surrey (100% office based)
- Contract: 3-Month Temporary Contract
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Hourly Rate: £23.07- £28.21 per hour PAYE- £29.48- £36.13 per hour via an umbrella company (£45,000- £55,000)
- Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team on an initial three-month contract to manage payroll activities for multiple European locations, including our São Paulo office. This role involves close collaboration with a network of external payroll providers.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinate payroll administration for approximately eight international offices, with employee numbers ranging from 4 to 30.
- Liaise with multiple external payroll providers across Europe and Brazil to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Prepare payroll submissions by receiving and processing payroll-related information from HR.
- Handle payroll changes such as new starters, leavers, employee transfers, salary increases, bonus payments, and updates on sickness and absence.
- Calculate and validate employee commission payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Review payroll data, resolve discrepancies with payroll providers and internal stakeholders.
- Support payroll-related reporting and reconciliation activities.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant payroll regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing or supporting European payrolls.
- Strong experience working with external payroll providers/agencies across multiple countries.
- Proficient in commission calculations, ideally within a sales-driven environment.
- Advanced Excel skills for handling payroll data, calculations, and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple payroll processes simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

- Exposure to payroll processes within sales-focused organisations.
