Roselands Resourcing are proud to be working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Worthing, who are looking to appoint an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their growing People team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working closely with managers and employees, providing practical advice and support across a broad range of employee relations matters.
The Role
As Employee Relations Advisor, you will provide professional and commercially focused HR advice across the business, supporting managers with a wide range of employee relations cases.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters
- Managing and advising on disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases
- Supporting managers through formal and informal ER processes
- Advising on performance management and improving employee engagement
- Ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently
- Working closely with managers to identify and resolve people-related issues
- Supporting investigations and preparing appropriate documentation
- Providing guidance on employment legislation and best practice
- Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
- Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives as required
About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience in an HR Advisor, Employee Relations Advisor or HR Generalist position, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, FMCG or similarly fast-paced environment.
You will have:
- Strong experience managing employee relations cases
- A good working knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- The confidence to challenge and advise managers where appropriate
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- CIPD qualification or working towards this would be advantageous
