Our client, based in Lancashire, is currently recruiting for an HR Business Partner on a permanent basis. The position offers a salary of £47,500 per annum and is based at the organisations office in Lancashire.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR generalist with strong knowledge of UK employment law, experience managing complex employee relations cases and a CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
Duties will include:
- Advising on and managing employee relations cases, including absence, investigations, disciplinary matters and grievances
- Supporting recruitment and selection, including high-volume recruitment
- Coaching managers to handle people matters confidently and consistently
- Supporting performance management, appraisals, training and development
- Developing policies, processes and initiatives that improve engagement and wellbeing
- Keeping policies and advice aligned with employment legislation and business needs
- Coordinating people changes with payroll and senior managers
- Contributing to wider HR projects and the development of the people strategy
- Managing and developing an HR Assistant
Experience required:
- Managing complex employee relations cases
- Experience in high-volume recruitment and selection
- Coaching operational managers in people management
- Developing HR policies and procedures
- A CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and practical HR best practice
