Location: Solihull - 3 days per week
Contract: 3 months
I'm recruiting for a Workforce Analytics & Insights Lead to join a financial services organisation on an initial 3-month contract.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can take ownership of workforce and people data, build reporting and workforce planning tools from scratch, and turn data into meaningful insights for senior HR stakeholders.
The role
You'll be responsible for bringing together workforce data and developing clear, useful reporting around areas such as:
-
Headcount and workforce planning
-
Recruitment and resourcing
-
Turnover and attrition
-
Absence
-
Workforce trends and performance
-
People KPIs and management information
-
Workforce dashboards and scorecards
-
Balanced Scorecard reporting
A key part of the role will be working with raw data, validating and manipulating it, and building reporting solutions rather than simply maintaining existing reports.
You'll also be expected to interpret the data, identify trends and issues, challenge assumptions and explain what the numbers mean to senior HR stakeholders - including making recommendations based on your findings.
About you
We're looking for someone with strong experience in People Analytics, HR Analytics, Workforce Analytics, HR MI or Workforce Planning.
You'll ideally have:
-
Strong experience analysing people/workforce data
-
Advanced Excel skills
-
Experience building dashboards and reporting from scratch
-
Experience with Balanced Scorecards - this is essential
-
Strong KPI and performance reporting experience
-
Experience working with data from multiple sources and validating data quality
-
Experience turning analysis into meaningful business insights and recommendations
-
Experience presenting findings to senior HR or business stakeholders
-
Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualisation experience
-
Strong workforce planning/headcount modelling experience
We're particularly interested in people who can do the analysis themselves, rather than someone purely focused on managing an analytics team or overseeing reporting.
If you're an experienced People Analytics, Workforce Analytics or HR MI professional with strong Excel, dashboarding and Balanced Scorecard experience, I'd be keen to hear from you.
