People Services Advisor

We are seeking a People Services Advisor to play a crucial role in delivering efficient, employee-centric services across the business. This position is responsible for supporting various activities in the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, reward and benefits administration, HR systems partnering, and providing employee inquiries and advice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset, dedicated to enhancing the employee experience through seamless operations and advice.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Handle and resolve all queries, requests, and issues related to Global HR and employment policies, escalating to specialists or third parties where necessary.
- Support and advise Senior Managers to identify and implement solutions to specific people issues that align with business objectives.
- Handle the day-to-day HR tasks revolving around the employee lifecycle.
- Responsible for the input and maintenance of employee data in HR systems and transferring data to agreed internal and third-party services in accordance with data quality and data security standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee lifecycle processes, such as onboarding and offboarding, putting the employee experience at the forefront.
- Manage payroll input and changes accurately and processed in accordance with payroll cut-off periods.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labour laws in all service-related activities.
- Proactively identify and suggest opportunities to improve processes to enhance the employee experience and service delivery, leveraging technology and automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HR / People administration.
- Excellent time management skills, able to plan and prioritise work, working to tight deadlines.
- Passionate about the employee and manager experience.
- Excellent customer service and processing skills, including
- Problem-solving skills, able to relate policies and procedures to specific individual situations in a pragmatic manner.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internal departments, and key contacts.
- Continuous Improvement mindset and skills, curious and willing to improve processes to enhance the employee experience and drive improvements.
- Data and technology savvy, able to use data to drive decisions.
