HR Advisor - Legal Sector

- Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Join a leading global law firm as an HR Advisor, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the achievement of business and people objectives. This position offers the opportunity to provide professional, commercial, and pragmatic HR advice and support to both lawyers and business services professionals.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Serve as the primary source of line manager advice and guidance on HR-related policies and practices.
- Provide coaching to line managers to encourage effective communication and objective problem resolution.
- Partner with line managers to manage employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
- Drive resolution in line with legislation and internal policies while keeping HR Business Partners updated with casework activity.
- Proactively identify themes and trends from HR inbox, casework, and operational activities, complete root cause analysis, and develop solutions.
- Support HR Business Partners in the delivery of people projects and HR calendar activities.
- Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes, proposing changes where necessary.
- Handle the HR inbox for the UK, responding to routine queries and triaging enquiries to the appropriate team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding and experience in Human Resources Management across all core areas of HR including recruitment, reward, performance management, learning & development, and talent management.
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law, procedures, and processes with proven experience in managing cases through to conclusion.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Professional qualification (CIPD or equivalent) is desirable.
