About the Role
We’re looking for a People Advisor with strong Employee Relations (ER) experience to join our dedicated team. You’ll provide professional HR advice and support across the organisation, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures. This role is pivotal in maintaining a positive workplace culture and supporting managers with complex HR matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for ER issues, including disciplinary, grievance, sickness, and absence management.
- Coach and guide managers through HR processes, ensuring compliance and best practice.
- Manage ER casework effectively, balancing empathy with organisational needs.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection.
- Collaborate with the wider People Team on projects that enhance employee engagement and wellbeing.
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential:
- Proven experience in Employee Relations and handling complex casework.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and employment law.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Desirable:
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the charity or healthcare sector.
