Reed HR are working along a large Public Sector Body based in Central London, who are recruiting for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to deliver a high-quality, consistent HR service that supports managers across the organisation. You will play a key role in ensuring People policies are implemented effectively, providing expert advice on day-to-day HR matters, and contributing to strategic projects under the guidance of the Senior HR Advisor.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of HR initiatives, including sickness absence management, casework, recruitment campaigns, and organisational development projects. You will actively network within the organisation to ensure a collaborative and productive approach to People services.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Senior HR Advisors to build line management capability and support business objectives.
- Provide advice and coaching to managers on HR issues within the organisation’s cultural context.
- Advise on disciplinary and grievance investigations, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Support redeployment processes to minimise compulsory redundancies.
- Coordinate recruitment campaigns to attract and hire suitable candidates.
- Deliver advice on the full spectrum of HR matters, ensuring consistent application of People policies.
- Monitor and report on key HR metrics, including sickness absence and equality data.
- Assist with organisational change projects and deliver workshops on HR topics.
- Engage with Trade Union representatives and provide guidance on employee relations issues.
- Undertake job evaluations and advise managers in line with Pay Policy.
About You
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practice.
- Proven experience in advising managers on HR issues and handling casework.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience in recruitment coordination and organisational change projects is desirable.
