We’re looking for a Reward Consultant for a public sector organisation with a strong finance environment, based in either London or Leeds.
This is a 9 month contract paying between £450 and £500 per day, inside IR35.
The role offers hybrid working, with an expectation to attend the office 2 days per week.
You will need to either hold current Security Clearance or have the ability to pass it.
Key responsibilities and experience required
The successful Reward Consultant will bring strong expertise across reward, job evaluation, and pay governance, including:
• Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies and organisational design
• Experience developing or maintaining job architecture frameworks
• Proven experience in reward, with a focus on pay equity and regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of gender pay gap reporting requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data management tools (experience with R or similar tools is desirable)
• Ability to influence, challenge constructively, and collaborate with senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior audiences
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs to tight deadlines
• Collaborative, proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
