Interim Learning & Organisational Development Consultant
Based in London & Inside IR35
Length: 6 months
We are seeking an experienced Interim Learning & Organisational Development Consultant to support the Future Transformation Programme for this council. This role is central to delivering people-centred change, strengthening organisational capability and embedding new ways of working across high-profile council projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored OD and change interventions across transformation projects
- Lead impact assessments, readiness diagnostics and practical change solutions
- Develop and deliver communications, engagement and training plans
- Facilitate workshops, coaching and team development sessions
- Track change progress, risks and benefits; support culture and behavioural change
- Work closely with HR, L&D and corporate teams to align activity
What You’ll Bring: - Strong experience in OD, change management or transformation, ideally in the public sector
- Knowledge of OD and change frameworks (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills
- Ability to analyse complex issues and design practical solutions
- Confident operating in multi-stakeholder, political environments
- Project management capability and collaborative team approach
- Relevant OD/Change/HR qualification; PROSCI certification desirable
