HRBP EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL - HR Business Partner - HR and OD, hybrid - 2 days Gloucester office, 6 month FTCThe OrganisationI'm recruiting for a large, value-led public sector organisation - this is an opportunity for an experienced HR & OD Business Partner to join its senior People team. This organisation is undergoing significant transformation and requires a highly capable professional to support complex workforce, cultural and organisational development activities.The RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with senior executives and multi-disciplinary corporate services to deliver strategic workforce leadership across designated functions. This post has limited ER focus (supporting escalations when necessary). There's a team to pick up the Employee Relations side of the HR service delivery. So, this role is primarily focused on OD. This will include data interpretation - what is driving behaviours, ops metrics, making suggestions/interventions ideally/not essential. The key skills and activities are stakeholder partnering, influencing and advising. This means being a trusted advisor, workforce planning, supporting change. As an HR & OD practitioner, you will act as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, providing expert advice across all areas of workforce strategy, organisational development and people management. You will lead and influence workforce planning, organisational change, TUPE activity, resourcing, leadership development and employee relations, ensuring high-quality, values-driven outcomes.Requirements to Apply:This post requires solid HR Business Partnering experience in a complex HR/OD environment.
- You will have a background operating in a similar role(s) as an HR Business Partner or equivalent, ideally within a relatively large and unionised organisation.
- Leading significant organisational change initiatives, including TUPE and complex workforce restructuring.
- Providing expert advice on highly sensitive and complex employee relations matters.
- Influencing senior leaders and building effective strategic relationships.
- Workforce planning, OD and policy development at organisational level.
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Deep understanding of employment law, organisational development principles and HR best practice.
- Ability to manage risk, governance processes and high-impact workforce decisions.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to analyse workforce data and provide insight-driven recommendations.
Qualifications
- CIPD ideally or equivalent HR qualification/experience.
