Tony Alan is partnering with a renowned, award-winning, and growing organisation based in East Sussex to recruit an Internal Communications Officer. This part-time role offers 30 hours per week across five days. Working within the People Team, this is an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Officer to play a pivotal role in shaping how colleagues connect and communicate across the organisation. You will take ownership of the internal communications platform, with a particular focus on the All Company community, delivering engaging, people-centred content that brings the organisation’s culture to life, champions wellbeing and inclusion, and ensures employees feel informed, heard, and genuinely connected across the business
This is a diverse role where such duties will include:
- Serve as the primary administrator and content lead for the All Company community.
- Plan and deliver compelling internal communications campaigns, highlighting colleague achievements, business updates, and initiatives that drive culture, wellbeing, and inclusion.
- Engage with teams across the organisation to uncover stories, gather insights, and ensure communications reflect the employee experience and business priorities.
- Partner with marketing, editorial, and operational teams to create clear, consistent, and impactful internal communications across all channels.
- Champion internal communication initiatives by guiding colleagues and managers, running awareness sessions, and sharing best practices.
- Analyse usage and engagement metrics to identify trends, gather insights, and recommend improvements that make communications more effective.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to highlight career opportunities and keep the recruitment pages engaging and up-to-date.
The successful candidate will bring proven experience in a communications-focused role, whether in HR, marketing, or a related field, where creating content and delivering engaging communications has been a core part of your role. You will have strong stakeholder management skills and a genuine passion for storytelling and colleague engagement, helping to promote company values and strengthen brand awareness. You should also be confident analysing engagement data and using insights to shape and improve communications activity.
