The Opportunity:- People Administrator – Immediate Start
- Location: York (Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days home)
- Salary: £26,000
- Contract: 6-month Fixed Term Contract (with potential to develop your HR skills)
Are you an organised, people-focused administrator looking to develop your HR career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, friendly and rewarding HR department where you’ll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly.I'm looking for a People Administrator who can hit the ground running and provide end-to-end HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing:- Managing all HR administration from recruitment through to off-boarding
- Preparing offer letters, contracts, and all associated onboarding documentation
- Supporting the recruitment process, including advertising roles and coordinating interviews
- Processing all employee changes and maintaining accurate HR records
- Collating and inputting payroll data to tight deadlines
- Ensuring compliance across all documentation and processes
- Being a central point of contact for HR queries and supporting the wider People team
What we're looking for:- Previous experience in HR administration or a strong administrative background with an interest in HR
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office packages
- Someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
