The OpportunityWe’re partnering with the team at Fólk Recruitment as we’re seeking to hire an experienced and commercially astute Head of HRto lead our people strategy during a period of growth and competitive development.This is not a traditional corporate HR role. Motorsport is demanding, dynamic and uncompromising, and the HR function must operate with the same clarity, pace and resilience.You will play a pivotal role in shaping organisational design, leadership capability and team performance across engineering, race operations, factory and corporate functions.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership- Develop and deliver a people strategy aligned to commercial and sporting objectives
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Managing Director and senior leadership team
- Lead organisational design and succession planning across all programmes
- Drive a high-performance culture built on accountability, clarity and professionalism
HR Operations & Governance- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Oversee HR policies, governance and risk management
- Lead complex employee relations and organisational change initiatives
- Provide clear, pragmatic guidance on performance, conduct and capability
Talent & Capability- Define and oversee recruitment strategy across technical and corporate functions
- Build leadership capability within programme teams
- Develop structured career pathways for engineering and operational roles
Culture & Team Performance- Champion wellbeing alongside high performance
- Embed strong professional standards across the organisation
- Support leaders in creating positive, resilient and high-performing teams
HR Team Leadership- Lead and develop a high-performing HR function, including:
- HR Business Partners
- HR Projects & Transformation Manager
- Ensure the function is collaborative, pragmatic and commercially focused
Experience & Expertise- Proven senior HR leadership experience in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience for working in a growing SME environment
- Experience supporting complex operational or technical teams
- Track record in organisational change and performance management frameworks
- Ability to build credibility with highly skilled technical stakeholders
- Experience in motorsport, elite sport, or engineering environments is highly advantageous.
