Day-to-day of the role:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Assist with recruitment administration, including posting job adverts and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate onboarding processes and prepare new starter documentation.
- Support training and development activities, including booking courses and tracking attendance.
- Handle general HR queries and provide first-line support to employees.
- Assist with payroll preparation and absence management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- A discreet and professional approach to handling sensitive information.
