We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based inNorth Somerset, who are recruiting for apermanent HR Advisor. The position is due to startas soon as possible( subjectto notice). Therole is part time 26 hours per week,£26,546 per annum (£37,778 per annum FTE) and offers flexible hybrid working and working hours.
The ideal candidate will havea proven track record effectively handling an ER caseload.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Manage end-to-end absence cases, including short- and long-term sickness, ensuring compliance with policy and supporting return-to-work processes
- Handle a varied ER caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and conduct issues in line with employment law and company policy
- Advise and coach line managers on ER matters to build their confidence and capability in handling people issues effectively
- Prepare documentation for hearings and formal meetings, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to procedural requirements
- Support HR data reporting, identifying trends in absence and ER cases to inform proactive interventions
- Promote early intervention and resolution, encouraging informal resolution of issues where appropriate to minimise risk and maintain positive employee relations
