Are you an experienced Employee Relations professional with a strong background in high-volume case management? My client is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join a busy HR function on a 2-month fixed-term contract, supporting multiple sites and delivering expert ER guidance.
About the Role
In this fast-paced position, you will manage a varied and high-volume caseload across a workforce of 570+ employees. You will provide comprehensive advice and support to managers on all Employee Relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a broad range of ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, and capability.
- Provide timely and accurate HR guidance to managers across multiple sites.
- Support with investigations, hearings, and documentation.
- Ensure best practice and compliance with employment law and internal policies.
- Build effective relationships with managers to promote positive ER practices.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Employee Relations Demonstrable experience managing high-volume ER cases CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) Strong understanding of UK employment law Confident communicator able to engage with stakeholders at all levels Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (multi-site travel required)
Contract Details
- 2-month FTC
- On-site role based in Croydon with travel to surrounding sites
- Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
- Immediate start preferred
