Description
You will be responsible for:- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HR system
- Coordinate onboarding activities including contracts, documentation, and inductions
- Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters, policy updates, and staff file changes
- Act as the first point of contact for routine HR queries from employees and managers
- Support recruitment processes, including interview scheduling and candidate coordination
- Manage leaver processes, ensuring all exit documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Assist with employee relations activity by preparing documentation for probation reviews, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance reviews
- Collate and submit payroll changes and support the administration of employee benefits
- Support HR reporting, data accuracy, audits, and regulatory or compliance requirements
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives such as policy reviews, wellbeing programmes, and process improvements
- Ensure all HR activity complies with UK employment law, GDPR, and internal standards
Profile
What You'll Need to Be Successful:- Proven experience in an HR Administrator or HR support role, with exposure across the employee lifecycle
- A good working knowledge of UK employment law fundamentals, GDPR, and HR best practice
- Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on data accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to respond to employee and manager queries professionally
- High attention to detail, particularly when handling contracts, employee records, and sensitive information
- A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A flexible and adaptable mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) would be advantageous
