HR Business Partner
£50,000 pa + £3,000 car allowance
South West - Devon/Dorset/Cornwall/Somerset - Homebased with national travel
Assure Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a client for this role. As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will provide commercial and pragmatic HR advice to help line managers handle complex people issues confidently. You will play a key role in implementing the People Plan, managing change initiatives (such as TUPE and restructuring), and ensuring HR policies align with both legislation and the evolving needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Support: Implement the People Plan and lead key HR projects, integrations, and change initiatives (TUPE, reorganisations).
- Employee Relations: Lead on complex disciplinary, grievance, and suspension cases; manage escalations and ensure timely, compliant investigations.
- Performance & Development: Develop frameworks to manage performance and attendance; coach and train line managers on HR processes and culture.
- Compliance & Policy: Maintain up-to-date HR policies in line with best practice and employment law; conduct regular site visits and file audits.
- Data & Reporting: Produce business-impacting HR reports and analyse trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Leadership: Line manage and mentor HR Officers; support HR Admin teams and deputise for the Director of HR & Resourcing when required.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners, such as legal firms.
Requirements, Qualifications & Experience
- Essential: CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent senior-level experience).
- Essential: Strong grasp of employment law (TUPE, redundancy, discrimination, etc.).
- Essential: Proven experience at a senior HR level with a results-focused approach.
- Desirable: Experience within the care sector.
