Our client is a large government organisation and looking for an experienced Training / Learning and Development professional to join their team. This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right candidate
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality leadership and management training to cohorts of managers. Working closely with colleagues across HR & OD, you will help plan delivery schedules, facilitate impactful learning sessions, and ensure managers receive timely development that supports them in their roles beyond the classroom.
You’ll be joining us at a critical stage as we accelerate delivery of this vital programme and maintain momentum across the organisation.
Delivering the Leadership Essentials programme to managers across various areas of the organisation, primarily through face-to-face training.
Creating an engaging learning environment that builds confidence, encourages discussion and supports practical application.
Planning delivery around cohort demand and organisational priorities to maintain pace and momentum.
Working with HR colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality learner experience.
Gathering and responding to feedback to continuously improve the programme and help to shape wider HR processes.
Acting as a visible advocate for leadership development and management best practice within the Council.
About you
We’re looking for two experienced Learning and Development professionals to join us who thrive in a training delivery-focused role, working directly with managers by building strong relationships and creating engaging, impactful learning experiences.
Proven experience delivering leadership and/or management training in group settings, while adapting your approach to support managers with differing levels of capability.
A recognised L&D qualification (Level 4 or above) or equivalent experience (essential).
