Are you an HR Generalist looking to take full ownership of a people function within a well-established manufacturing business, offering a 4-day working week and a key role within senior leadership?
You will be responsible for delivering a full HR service across the business, supporting around 50 employees and working closely with senior leadership to drive engagement, performance, and culture. This is a broad role covering everything from employee relations to recruitment, payroll oversight, and policy development.
The company is a long-standing and respected manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and a people-first culture. With continued investment and growth plans, they are looking for someone who can support both day-to-day operations and longer-term HR strategy.
This role would suit an experienced HR Generalist or HR Manager who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a hands-on environment, and wants to play a key role in shaping people strategy within a growing business.
The Role:
- Manage all aspects of HR across the business * Handle employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence * Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development * Support payroll processes and HR administration * Develop and implement HR policies and procedures * Drive employee engagement and performance management
The Person:
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) * Strong HR generalist experience within manufacturing or similar * Good knowledge of UK employment law
