Junior Learning and Development Trainer - Manufacturing/FMCG

Reed HR have partnered with a fantastic company who are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Trainer to join the People and Development team within the Manufacturing/FMCG sector. This factory-based role is crucial for ensuring that all team members receive the necessary training focused on food quality, safety, and health & safety standards. The successful candidate will work closely with department managers to deliver mandatory and on-the-job training, ensuring the effectiveness and relevance of training programs.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop, review, assist, and evaluate a fully compliant and comprehensive onboarding programme for all new employees.
- Organise, coordinate, and deliver industry-specific training to all team members to ensure they can undertake their roles compliantly.
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant supporting training documentation on the training system.
- Ensure all mandatory training is up-to-date and refresher training is undertaken within required deadlines.
- Report on training progression and conduct competency assessments.
- Support the wider team in identifying current and future skills requirements of the organisation and help create flexible learning interventions through digital and other means to meet the diverse needs of our business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively in a factory environment.
- Confident in delivering training to groups.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
