Location: Currently based in Weybridge, relocating to Wimbledon (1–2 days per week in the office, hybrid working available, with occasional travel)
The Role
As a People Advisor, you’ll provide practical, day-to-day HR support to managers and employees across the organisation. You’ll play an important role in ensuring people policies are applied fairly and consistently, while helping to foster a positive and inclusive working culture.
Reporting to a People Partner, you’ll also support wider people initiatives and contribute to ongoing HR projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear and pragmatic advice on HR policies, employee relations, performance and absence management
- Manage complex onboarding processes and probation reviews
- Maintain HR systems, payroll documentation and reporting dashboards
- Support employee lifecycle activities including flexible working, family-friendly policies and leavers
- Assist People Partners with employee relations cases
- Provide first-tier advice on people issues and support absence management at first and second tier
- Support TUPE processes and organisational restructures
- Monitor employment law changes and support the implementation of updates
- Contribute to recruitment activity, HR projects and wellbeing initiatives
About You
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in a generalist HR or People Advisor role
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Confident communicator with the ability to advise, influence and build trust
- Comfortable working with HR systems and Microsoft Office
- Values-driven, with a genuine interest in making a positive social impact
