Description
- Lead end-to-end resourcing activity, including recruitment campaigns, pipelines, and hiring decisions at pace.
- Refresh and embed the people strategy into day-to-day delivery, aligning to capability and future workforce needs.
- Shape and prioritise capability and development activity across the function.
- Act as senior advisor on people matters, supporting leaders with clear, practical guidance.
- Drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes and enhancing ways of working across the function.
Profile
A successful interim People & Capability Lead should have:
- 10+ years' experience operating at senior level within Commercial & Procurement, or leading people, talent and workforce agendas within a complex professional or technical function
- Strong credibility with senior leaders, with the ability to operate as a peer with C&P Heads of and Directors
- Demonstrable experience of leading significant recruitment activity, workforce planning and resourcing decisions at pace
- Proven ability to shape and deliver people strategy (e.g. capability, talent, EVP, workforce planning) in a delivery-led, high-change environment
- Sound judgement and confidence to lead on sensitive and complex people matters, without reliance on formal authority
- A pragmatic, outcomes-focused mindset and a willingness to roll sleeves up to get things done
Job Offer
- Daily rate between £700 and £750, paid in GBP depending on experience
