Temporary HR Advisor – Employee Relations Focus

We are currently supporting a large, multi-site organisation with the recruitment of a Temporary HR Advisor to provide short-term cover while a permanent position is recruited.
This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who is immediately available (or on short notice) and confident managing a high-volume Employee Relations caseload in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
- Acting as a generic HR Advisor, supporting across multiple campuses as required
- Managing a high caseload of ER and absence cases, including:
- Sickness absence management
- Capability processes
- Advising managers on HR policy and best practice
- Providing pragmatic, day-to-day HR advice to stakeholders
- Supporting consistency and compliance across ER activity
The main base for the role will be Trafford with occasional travel depending on the ER case location.
Working Pattern
- 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Usual working hours are between 9:00am-5.00pm finish (some flexibility offered)
- Onsite initially, moving to hybrid working 1 day WFH a week
About You
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor or ER-focused role
- Confident managing a busy, complex ER caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of absence management and capability processes
- Comfortable working in a multi-site or matrix environment
- Available to start within the next couple of weeks
