Job Title: People Business Partner
Location: EMEA (Fully Remote)
Salary: Dependent on experience
My client is seeking a commercially minded and highly capablePeople Business Partner to join a fast-paced, high-growth organisation operating across EMEA. This is not a traditional HRBP or employee relations role, this position is suited to someone who can confidently lead on complex, multi-country people matters and then proactively build scalable solutions to prevent recurrence.
You will act as a trusted advisor to the business, bringing strong judgement, a challenge mindset, and the ability to operate autonomously in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex, multi-country employee relations cases end-to-end
- Provide pragmatic, risk-based guidance across multiple jurisdictions
- Make confident decisions without over-reliance on external legal counsel
- Partner with business leaders to address people challenges in a commercially effective way
- Identify trends from ER cases and design scalable processes to mitigate future risk
- Build and implement frameworks, policies, and tools to support a growing workforce
- Operate comfortably across different cultural and legal landscapes within EMEA
- Contribute to the development of a high-performing, resilient people function
- Challenge stakeholders constructively to drive better business and people outcomes
Skills & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience managing multi-country employee relations cases (essential)
- Strong exposure to working outside of a single “home” jurisdiction
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions independently, without defaulting to legal support
- Experience working in a scale-up, high-growth, or tech environment
- Strong judgement with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
- Deep understanding of employment practices across EMEA
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to build scalable people solutions from complex situations
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
