The L&D Business Partnerwillwork with leaders to assess team needs, recommend learning solutions, and promote a high-performance, people-focused culture.
Whatyou’llbe responsible for
- Leads on the individual and collective development of the Emerging talent and Internal developmentprogrammes, ensuring that key learning milestones are achieved.
- Offers advice and support on apprenticeships for business areas to ensure that apprenticeship levyutilisationisoptimisedalongside meeting business needs through high quality learning provision
- Provide Coaching and support for those on DOWD’s talentprogrammes.
- To deliverface-to-facetraining/ online learning asrequired.
- Plans a yearly learning curriculum based on the needs of the business and employees.
- Proactively manages relationships with external suppliers tooptimiseperformance and ensure best value.
What we are looking for
Essential
- Experience within L&D and exposure with the above list of responsibilities
- Excellentcommunicator and facilitator
- Implemented and delivered trainingprogrammes
- Experience working across different departmentson collective and individual projects
Desirable
- Construction,manufacturingor engineering industry knowledge
- Project management qualification
