A rare opportunity to step into a high-impact role focused on embedding organisational change, shaping culture and elevating capability at scale.We are partnering with a progressive, purpose-led organisation operating within a complex, specialist environment to appoint a Talent & Culture Manager on a 12-month maternity cover.
This is not a steady-state role - it offers real scope to build on existing transformation work and ensure it translates into tangible, lasting impact across the business.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of People, you will lead a small, high-performing Talent / L&D team, playing a key role in delivering a business-wide culture and development agenda.With strong foundations already in place, your focus will be on embedding and driving initiatives forward, ensuring they land effectively and deliver measurable outcomes.You will operate as a trusted partner to senior leadership, translating strategic priorities into practical, commercially aligned people solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a Talent / L&D team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Own and embed a culture transformation programme, aligning leadership behaviours, capability and employee experience
- Partner with senior stakeholders to shape organisational development and succession planning initiatives
- Design and commission learning strategies, leveraging both internal capability and external partners
- Use data and insight to drive measurable outcomes and continuous improvement
- Enhance leadership capability, internal mobility and career development pathways
- Contribute to broader people initiatives across workforce planning, talent and inclusion
About You
You will bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, with the confidence to operate in a visible, senior role:
- Proven experience leading L&D, OD or Talent functions, including managing teams
- A strong track record of delivering culture or transformation initiatives
- Comfortable operating within complex, multi-site organisations
- Credible and confident influencing senior stakeholders and leadership teams
- Able to translate strategy into clear, practical and implementable solutions
- Commercially aware, pragmatic and outcome-focused
- Wider exposure to Talent, EDI or people initiatives would be advantageous

Package & Details
- Salary: £64,000 - £72,000 (dependent on experience)
- 12-month maternity cover (July- August start)
- Hybrid working (c. 2-3 days onsite with some UK travel)
- 27 days annual leave
