Reed HR are working alongside a large Not for Profit Organisation based in Central London who are recruiting for a Health & Safety Administrator for initially 6 months. This is to cover team absence.
This role is hybrid so flexibility is offered.
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organised Health & Safety Administrator. This role will act as the first point of contact for incoming queries and play a key part in managing and maintaining our HR & Health and Safety systems and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for health and safety queries received via the shared inbox, responding promptly and escalating where necessary
- Provide administrative support to the HR & Health & Safety team
- Manage and maintain health and safety digital platforms and systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Log, track, and monitor incidents, queries, and actions within internal systems
- Support compliance by maintaining records, documentation, and audit trails
- Assist with the coordination of health and safety processes, including reporting and data management
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to support health and safety initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and system efficiencies
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a busy HR Administrative role (health and safety experience is desirable but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy inbox effectively
- Comfortable using digital platforms and systems (experience with H&S systems is an advantage)
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
