Compensation & Benefits Specialist – UK & Ireland (temporary)
Location: Leicester (Hybrid: 4 days on-site, 1 day WFH) Reporting to: People Services Lead
About the Role
We’re looking for an immediately available highly skilled temporary Compensation & Benefits Specialist to support the delivery of a robust, compliant, and data-driven approach to benefits across the UK & Ireland. This role is central to enhancing the employee experience while ensuring reward processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned with business strategy.
You’ll bring hands-on expertise across compensation, pensions, and bonus administration, working closely with People Services, Payroll, Finance, HRBPs, and senior stakeholders. You’ll also play a key role in embedding a new reward & benefits framework, driving consistency, clarity, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation & Reward Operations

Administer Sales Incentive Plans and annual bonus payments ensuring accurate processing with Payroll.

Lead the tracking and management of Group Risk Policies, PMI, GiP, GLA and act as the first point of contact for employee and HRBP queries.

Manage the Car Scheme for both Company Car Users and the Salary Sacrifice scheme.
Pensions & Benefits (UK & Ireland)

Act as a subject matter expert on UK & Ireland pensions, including governance, auto-enrolment, and relationships with third-party administrators

Maintain accurate pensions and benefits data aligned with contractual and statutory requirements.

Support benefit renewals, data submissions and audits as required.

Provide data-driven insights and recommendations using internal data and external market benchmarks.

Support reward-related reporting for HRD, HRBPs and other stakeholders.
Stakeholder Partnership & Communication

Partner with People Services, HRBPs, Finance and Payroll to ensure seamless delivery of reward processes.

Review processes, documentation and controls to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
-
Vast experience within compensation, reward or HR analytics, ideally within a global or matrix environment.

Strong working knowledge of UK & Ireland pensions, including regulatory and governance requirements.

Advanced Excel capability with experience analysing, modelling and presenting complex reward data.

Experience with HR systems and reward platforms (e.g., Oracle or similar).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
