Skill Trainer – Asset Presentation (Bus & Premises Cleaning)

My client is the capital’s largest bus operator, employing over 8,000 colleagues and running 25% of London’s red bus network on behalf of TfL.
They are looking for a Skill Trainer – Asset Presentation to help raise cleaning standards across our bus and premises operations as we continue to build stronger in-house capability.
The Role
You’ll deliver practical, high-quality training to bus and premises cleaning operatives, ensuring safety, consistency and professionalism across our network. Working on site with operational teams, you’ll coach colleagues, assess standards and embed best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver induction, refresher and upskilling training
- Coach colleagues on cleaning methods, equipment, chemicals and PPE
- Ensure compliance with COSHH and Health & Safety standards
- Assess on-site performance and support improvement plans
- Maintain accurate training and compliance records
- Provide technical advice to managers and support audits and investigations
About You
- Experience in professional cleaning operations (transport, industrial or facilities preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe working practices
- Confident trainer with strong communication and coaching skills
- Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety requirements
- Organised, proactive and improvement-focused
Desirable: Train-the-Trainer, IOSH and/or recognised cleaning qualifications.
