This is a fantastic opportunity to build your experience in employee relations, stakeholder management, and people-focused initiatives within a supportive and growing HR team.About the Role This is a hands-on, generalist HR position where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with managers across the business, providing practical, timely HR advice and playing a key role in supporting our people and operations. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of HR activities, with a particular focus on attendance management, wellbeing, and employee relations.What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing clear, pragmatic HR advice on:
- Long-term sickness and absence management
- Disciplinary and grievance cases
- Supporting managers across the full employee lifecycle
- Assisting with employee relations matters and ensuring timely resolution
- Preparing redundancy calculations and supporting TUPE processes
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Conducting site visits to support managers
- Carrying out regular file audits to ensure compliance
- Supporting the development and updating of HR policies
- Contributing to HR projects, including wellbeing initiatives and company event
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ HR administrative experience, ideally in a fast-paced or 24/7 environment (e.g. security, healthcare, logistics, retail, hospitality)
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and ACAS guidance
- Confident handling sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage HR data accurately
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to make sound, legally compliant decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise in a busy environment
- Strong emotional intelligence and a genuinely inclusive approach
