HR/People Partner
- Contract Type: 6-month FTC
- Location: Kent
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Hybrid - 3 days on site and 2 days working from home
Reed HR have partnered with a fantastic organisation who are seeking an HR/People Partner to join the People Directorate, which encompasses Human Resources, Volunteering, Payroll, and Organisational Development. This role is pivotal in supporting the organisation through the design and delivery of our People Strategy and managing change to align with our strategic and operational plans.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of the People Strategy and manage change initiatives.
- Design and deliver projects focused on upskilling managers and enhancing health and wellbeing.
- Manage the employee relations case list, including discipline, grievance, performance management, and redundancy.
- Provide specialist and operational advice to managers in all areas of People Management.
- Support projects and activities in Health and Wellbeing and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external investigators and mediators.
- Lead organisational change management projects to ensure organisational sustainability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- MCIPD qualification or equivalent experience, with evidence of continued professional development in HR best practices and employment law.
- Significant experience in managing complex employee relations cases.
- Thorough understanding of employment law principles and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, organisational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in ICT, particularly Microsoft Office, for producing reports and HR correspondence.
- Experience in managing organisational change with positive outcomes.
