Training Specialist
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Trainer to support a growing franchise network across the South of England.
This is a field-based role focused on visiting franchise locations to deliver impactful one-to-one coaching and training. You will play a key role in raising operational standards, ensuring compliance, and driving commercial performance across the network.
In addition, you will design and develop training programmes aligned to business needs, delivering learning through a blend of classroom sessions, webinars, and online platforms.
Due to the nature of the role, regular travel and overnight stays are required, and a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-store one-to-one coaching and training to franchise store employees and managers
- Work closely with franchisees to identify training needs and performance gaps
- Design, develop, and deliver training programmes and materials to support operational and commercial objectives
- Facilitate training through classroom sessions, webinars, and digital learning platforms
- Support the consistent implementation of policies, procedures, and best practice across franchise locations
- Produce monthly summary reports outlining store visits, training delivered, and key outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvement
- Build strong, trusted relationships with franchisees and store teams to support ongoing development
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a training, learning & development, or coaching role
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, both face-to-face and virtual
- Ability to deliver engaging one-to-one coaching and group training sessions
- Experience designing and developing training programmes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Strong organisational, planning, and time-management abilities
- Ability to analyse training needs and measure training effectiveness
- Confident producing clear, concise written reports
- Comfortable working independently while managing a regional travel schedule
Qualifications
- A recognised training qualification (e.g. CIPD Level 5 in Learning & Development or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
