Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + bonus

The Role
An established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced HR Manager to take full ownership of the HR function. This is a highly visible, hands-on role combining strategic input with day-to-day delivery, working closely with senior leaders and employees across both shopfloor and professional environments.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team while remaining accessible and pragmatic in your approach.
Key ResponsibilitiesFull ownership of the HR function
End-to-end recruitment and onboarding
Employee relations and case management
Performance management and appraisal frameworks
Compensation and benefits administration
Learning, training and development
HR strategy, policy development and continuous improvement
Employment law compliance and best practice
Culture, engagement and retention initiatives
Acting as a key link between management and employees
Driving improvements to HR systems, processes and data
About You
Proven experience at HR Manager or HR Business Partner level
Comfortable operating in a manufacturing or shopfloor-led environment
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
Confident influencing senior stakeholders with credibility and judgement
Calm, professional, ethical and highly confidential
Pragmatic, organised and detail-oriented
CIPD Level 5 preferred (or equivalent experience)
Strong Excel skills; HRIS exposure desirable
Enjoys being visible on site and rolling sleeves up when needed

£50,000 - £55,000 basic salary plus bonus
