The Role
As Recruitment Lead, you will lead the recruitment function to deliver efficient, high-quality hiring. Working closely with internal stakeholders and client account teams, you will ensure recruitment objectives are met, provide an excellent candidate experience, oversee day-to-day recruitment operations, and drive continuous improvement across all recruitment activities.
Leadership:
- Lead and develop the recruitment function to achieve vacancy targets and meet client SLAs.
- Manage a part time Recruitment Executive - performance through coaching, training and appraisals.
- Drive continuous improvement by enhancing recruitment processes and proactively resolving issues.
Recruitment:
- Develop and deliver effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire high-quality talent, including senior management roles.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising and interviewing to onboarding, ensuring an excellent candidate experience and full ATS utilisation.
- Build talent pipelines, identify market trends, and drive continuous improvement to support business growth and employee retention.
Reporting & Data:
- Produce recruitment reports and insights using Excel, the ATS and Power BI to track performance, trends and key initiatives.
- Analyse market and competitor activity, providing recommendations and executive summaries to clients and account teams.
Admin:
- Ensure recruitment and onboarding processes are compliant with company policies and relevant legislation, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Manage vacancy advertising, onboarding and new starter administration, delivering an engaging candidate experience.
- Support HR initiatives and contribute to ad hoc projects as required.
Field Engagement:
- Conduct regular field visits and attend client meetings to stay aligned with business needs.
- Deliver recruitment workshops and guidance to hiring managers, promoting best practice and process updates.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Advisor who has hands on knowledge of the full 360 lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong team player.
- Approachable, adaptable and proactive.
- Competent using ATS/LinkedIn/Job boards.
- Knowledge of Excel and drawing reports providing insight.
- Live within commutable distance of Thame and have your own transport for field visits, when required.
The Package:
- Full time, permanent role.
- Hybrid, offering 3 in the office, 2 WFH.
- £30-33k DOE.
- 5% company bonus.
