Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Organisational Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving organisational transformation and building a high-performing, future-ready workforce.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of HR, the Organisational Development Manager will lead the organisation's people and capability agenda, overseeing a specialist OD team to deliver initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness, employee engagement, and business performance.
This role goes beyond business as usual. You will oversee talent and leadership development, performance management, organisational culture, mandatory training and succession planning, helping to ensure the organisation is equipped to meet both current and future challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Organisational Performance
- Develop and embed frameworks that foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and behavioural excellence.
- Support the delivery of the organisation's performance management strategy and roadmap.
Strategic Workforce Planning
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify future capability and talent gaps.
- Develop workforce planning and succession strategies that reduce risk across critical business functions.
Learning, Compliance & Capability
- Lead the delivery and governance of mandatory, regulatory and technical training programmes.
- Ensure compliance standards are maintained across key operational areas.
Emerging Talent & Future Workforce
- Design and deliver apprenticeship, graduate and emerging talent programmes.
- Build a sustainable pipeline of future leaders and technical specialists to support long-term organisational success.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor and develop a specialist OD team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous learning.
- Create and deliver leadership development programmes that enable managers to lead effectively through change and transformation.
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, using insight and feedback to shape meaningful improvement plans.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to strengthen culture and employee experience.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Significant experience in a senior Organisational Development role.
- A proven track record of delivering large-scale OD, culture and capability initiatives.
- Experience influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management capability, with experience delivering complex programmes within budget and timescales.
- Experience within a regulated environment would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational development expertise with the ability to translate business strategy into impactful people plans.
- Experience using OD methodologies and diagnostic tools to identify organisational challenges and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to use data and insights to drive decision-making and measure impact.
- CIPD L7 qualified or equivalent experience.
