Remote Recruitment Manager - Care Sector
Location: Merseyside / Remote
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Travel: Approximately 1-2 days per week
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are partnering with a values-led care organisation to recruit a talented Recruitment Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of recruitment across the business, helping to attract and retain the dedicated people needed to deliver outstanding care and support.
The role is predominantly remote, with travel to services and other locations approximately one to two days per week. We are therefore looking for someone based in or around Merseyside who holds a full UK driving licence and is comfortable travelling as required.
Recruitment Manager - The Role:
As Recruitment Manager, you will lead and develop the organisation’s recruitment function, working closely with operational leaders to understand their staffing needs and deliver an effective recruitment strategy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process across a variety of care and support roles
- Developing proactive recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates
- Building strong relationships with hiring managers and operational teams
- Coaching and supporting managers throughout the recruitment and selection process
- Improving candidate attraction, engagement and retention
- Reviewing recruitment data to identify trends, challenges and opportunities
- Developing talent pipelines for current and future vacancies
- Managing recruitment campaigns across job boards, social media and other channels
- Ensuring recruitment processes remain compliant, efficient and reflective of the organisation’s values
- Supporting employer-branding and recruitment-marketing initiatives
- Monitoring agency usage and recruitment expenditure
Recruitment Manager - About You:
We are looking for an experienced recruiter who can combine strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience managing recruitment internally or within a busy recruitment environment
- Experience recruiting within care, social care, healthcare or another high-volume sector
- Strong knowledge of candidate attraction and direct-sourcing methods
- The ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and operational managers
- Experience improving recruitment processes and candidate journeys
- A confident, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience using recruitment data and reporting to support decision-making
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- The flexibility and willingness to travel approximately one to two days per week
