HR Advisor, 6 Month FTC, Manchester (Hybrid Working), £40,000 Per AnnumMacmillan Davies are working on behalf of a leading global law firm who are looking to attract a HR Advisor to join their growing HR team in Manchester on a 6 Month FTC. This role sits within the HR Business Partnering team and involves working closely with colleagues across HR and with key stakeholders throughout the business.
Main duties include:
- Business partnering and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
- Providing timely, pragmatic HR advice as required
- Supporting HR Managers in developing people initiatives
- Identifying and driving improvements to HR processes
- Supporting workforce planning alongside the Resourcing team
- Assisting with vacancy approvals, selection processes and offer management
- Supporting new joiners, leavers, secondments and apprentices
- Conducting exit interviews and providing management information
- Supporting disciplinary, grievance, absence and wellbeing cases
- Providing benefits advice and managing maternity, parental leave and flexible working requests
- Ensuring accurate documentation and timely referrals
- Supporting performance review processes and development planning
- Assisting with annual salary review processes
- Producing MI and monthly reports
- Supporting firm-wide surveys
- Leading or contributing to HR projects as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Part or fully CIPD qualified a plus, but not essential.
- Solid generalist HR experience within ideally a professional services environment.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong influencing skills with senior stakeholders and excellent communication.
- Highly computer literate, with advanced Excel skills.
