HR Adviser – Permanent

What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will be the go to person for managers and colleagues who need guidance, reassurance or a bit of HR know how. Every day will bring something different. You may be offering advice on policies, supporting wellbeing conversations or helping managers through tricky situations with confidence and care.
You will also have the chance to get involved in projects, shape policies, deliver training and play an active part in supporting the organisation’s people strategy.
Your Day to Day Might Include:
- Giving friendly, practical HR advice across a range of topics
- Supporting managers with ER cases such as sickness, disciplinary and grievance
- Helping to review and improve policies
- Creating and delivering engaging HR training sessions
- Producing reports and supporting HR processes
- Providing support and guidance to junior HR colleagues
- Building trusted relationships across the organisation
- Promoting equality, inclusion and safeguarding best practice
About You
You will be a great fit if you enjoy connecting with people and putting them at ease. We are looking for someone who has:
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards it) and active membership
- Experience in a generalist HR or ER focused role
- Up to date HR and employment law knowledge
- Confidence managing ER cases and advising managers
- Great communication skills and a warm, approachable manner
- Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
- Confidence using different IT systems and an interest in learning new ones
An Enhanced DBS check will be required due to the nature of the role.
