What you’ll be doing
In this varied, high-impact role, you’ll take ownership of Early Careers recruitment across the firm, including:
- Managing end-to-end hiring for Trainee Solicitors, Apprenticeships and Work Experience programmes
- Recruiting administrators, business support and paralegal level roles
- Building strong partnerships with universities, candidates and internal stakeholders
- Delivering engaging early careers initiatives and supporting internal progression pathways
- Running recruitment assessment days and ensuring a standout candidate experience
- Representing Thompsons at careers fairs, campus events and outreach activities across the UK
- Supporting day-to-day recruitment activity and providing accurate, efficient admin support
You’ll be a key ambassador for Thompsons — championing our values, our mission and our commitment to social mobility.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll thrive here if you are:
- Confident, proactive and passionate about Early Careers or high-volume recruitment
- Experienced (1–2 years) in recruitment, ideally with exposure to Emerging Talent
- A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder-management skills
- Highly organised, detail-driven and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, with experience using ATS platforms
- Motivated by fairness, access and creating opportunities for under-represented groups
A genuine interest in law or social justice will help you feel right at home.
