Join Bury Council in a pivotal role as an Organisational Development Consultant. This role is crucial for ensuring that the council has the right people, with the right skills, in the right place and level. You will be instrumental in driving the development of the organisation’s people and culture.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the delivery of the Council’s Organisational Development Strategy, enhancing the organisation’s culture, capacity, and capability.
- Provide senior OD capacity to drive key organisational development projects focused on behaviour and cultures, leadership and management development, wellbeing and reward, talent management, learning and development, and employee engagement.
- Lead major and complex OD projects, such as the development and delivery of a Management Development programme, including the delivery of core modules, development of additional content with SMEs, and alignment of content with the annual cycle of activity.
- Provide leadership and development through 360 assessments and coaching.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Organisational Development within a similar large, complex organisation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and direct a team.
- Experience in leading significant workforce change projects with cross-organisational implications.
- In-depth knowledge of OD strategies and the ability to implement these effectively to meet organisational goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across various departments.
- Ability to oversee and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously.
