My client is seeking a dedicated and passionate HR Associate to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will have full responsibility for your client group, which includes stakeholders across depots and Head Offices among other functions. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute significantly to our HR operations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide a full generalist HR operations and advisory service to a client group of approximately 5,500 colleagues across 63 depots and Head Offices.
- Support HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and offer advice and guidance to managers regarding employee relations, policies, and other general HR issues.
- Emphasise HR operational tasks and contribute to the delivery of People Plan activities and change initiatives within the business area.
- Partner with stakeholders and their teams to understand their business objectives and related people needs.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives and recruitment activities in the partnered business area.
- Act as an ambassador in driving a positive culture and ensuring values are embedded at every stage of the colleague life cycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- CIPD qualification and/or membership.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, preferably agile environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong background in HR Generalist roles with experience in Employee Relations (ER).
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of employment law.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact persuasively with colleagues at all levels, including senior management.
- Professional and personable with a proactive, 'hit the ground running' attitude.
