My client are a Global ambitious and every growing and agile Consulting firm with two main offices in London and New York but operate in nearly 40 countries globally. Due to continued growth they are looking to create a new role within the EMEA business for Director of Total Reward and Compensation to join them on a 12 Month FTC with an option to go perm.
The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategy to support the business objectives and will support both the People, Reward and Finance team to deliver this objective
You will have a strong track record of designing and building EMEA-wide frameworks and programs from cradle to grave.
The role
- Design, development, implementation, administration, and communication of compensation programs in partnership with Global Total Rewards, Payroll, and Finance objectives
- Develop and implement out of cycle financial compensation programs, including promotions, special bonuses, and money support initiatives (e.g., loans), to reward employees outside the standard review cycle.
- Design and manage salary structures, job architecture systems, and pay-for-performance programs
- Work with EMEA Business Unit Leaders and People teams to oversee the annual compensation process, including planning, execution and analysis
- Partner with Legal and Finance to ensure compliance with local people laws and regulations or reporting requirements
- Collaborate with Finance to create budgets and forecast costs for total rewards programs
- Partner across the business units and Talent teams to maintain job architecture, job descriptions, skills and compensation
- Participate in compensation surveys, conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness,
- Identify and manage relationships with external vendors
- Participate in M&A activities, focusing on harmonizing compensation and benefits
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in total rewards, across multiple countries, ideally in EMEA
- Proven background in Professional Services, Consulting, Legal or FS ideally or at least a highly changeable agile business
- Expertise in leading the design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies
- Strong track record of designing and building EMEA-wide compensation frameworks and programs
- CIPD or Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or GRP (Global Remuneration Professional) preferred
- In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, including executive compensation
- Strong understanding of global employment laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits
- Experience with HRIS (Workday preferred) and compensation management systems
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, especially Business unit leadership and C-Suite stakeholders
