We’re supporting a well-established organisation with a largely blue-collar/operational workforce that’s looking to hire an experienced HR Business Partner with strong, hands-on ER experience.
The Role- Managing high-volume ER casework, including absence, disciplinaries, grievances, performance and well-being
- Supporting managers and supervisors with investigations, hearings and outcomes
- Advising on employee issues within a blue-collar/operational environment
- Supporting restructures, TUPE, shift changes and organisational change
- Ensuring consistent application of policies in line with UK employment law
- Building strong relationships with managers to improve people management capability
- Line management of an HR Advisor
About You- CIPD qualified
- Strong generalist HR background with significant ER experience in blue-collar, operational or site-based environments
- Line Management experience
- Comfortable handling complex and sensitive ER matters independently
- Solid working knowledge of UK employment law
- Practical, resilient and confident, challenging managers where needed
- Able to build credibility quickly with operational leaders and teams
