Role:
Golden Lane Housing is seeking a People & Culture Project Officer to provide administrative and project support to the People & Culture team. Reporting to the Organisational Development Business Partner, this role will support recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, payroll, benefits, training administration, compliance and delivery of people-related projects.
Duties will include:
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding, including advertising roles, liaising with agencies, managing applications, scheduling interviews, preparing contracts and updating HR systems
- Administering compliance tasks, training events, and e-learning systems, including maintaining records, trackers and performance reports
- Providing project support across People & Culture initiatives, including scheduling, documentation, research, stakeholder communication and post-project feedback
- Supporting the management of the People inbox, employee records, payroll processes and HR systems to ensure accuracy and GDPR compliance
- Assisting with reporting, monitoring sickness absence, and maintaining intranet pages with up-to-date policies and information
- Acting as a first point of contact for the People & Culture team, delivering efficient, accurate administrative support and helping ensure colleagues have a positive experience
- Modelling organisational values and behaviours, supporting ED&I initiatives, and upholding Health & Safety and organisational standards
Person:
- Proven administration and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences
- Experience with data collation, reporting, and HR systems; proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and initiative
- Flexibility and willingness to learn, travel, and occasionally work outside normal hours
