- Proactively develop strong working relationships with your stakeholders to deliver excellent service to the relevant business area.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives that align with the company’s goals and enhance employee engagement
- At act a primary point of contact for employee relations issues providing commercial confidential advice and guidance to ensure effective resolution in line with policy and best practice.
- Work with allocated managers on investigations, disciplinary, capability, performance management and grievance cases to ensure that they are conducted according to best practice guidelines and policy and are resolved in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Coach & train allocated managers as part of day-to-day responsibility.
- Work with the Senior HR team and stakeholders on succession planning and capacity management.
- Manage and mentor the HR Coordinators, providing guidance and support, and professional development opportunities.
- Oversee and ensure the timely completion of the HR Coordinator daily tasks.
- Give advice to allocated managers on recruitment best practice and liaise effectively with the HR Co coordinators over seeing recruitment administration in the relevant area. This may include support with interviewing, writing job adverts, writing role profiles, liaising with recruitment agencies and helping to communicate vacancies.
- Work with Talent Manager to ensure there are effective inductions, training, capacity levels.
- Monitor key HR metrics such as people turnover, long & short-term absence & retention.
- Undertake day to day duties & projects following instruction from the Head of HR.
- Monitor, review and update all HR policies and ensure these are in line with current legislation.
- Manage the administration of the OH/PHI process.
- Support the HR Coordinators and HR Admin Manager in ensuring that fitness & propriety is effectively co-ordinated across the business in line with SMCR (FCA).
- Oversee part time holiday calculations in liaison with the governance team.
- Carry out exit interviews for the business.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with payroll to ensure they have up to date information.
